Here is one that constantly gets hassled of the home remedies for cold sores. People claim it doesn’t work and its only something that your grandma have thought you, but putting a tea bag on a cold sore actually does help in reducing the pain and prevents the sore from developing even further. This is because the tea contains tannic acid and these are often found in over the counter medicines for cold sores.
